Our History
Kaluma is a sustainable design studio founded in Barcelona by Industrial Design Engineer Greta Marie Tilebein. The company began with a simple idea: to transform discarded and biodegradable materials into thoughtful, long-lasting design objects.
What started with collecting abandoned water pipes and experimenting with circular design quickly grew into a practice centered on the intersection of waste, craft, and technology.
Today, Kaluma continues to develop innovative lighting and home objects shaped by material exploration, hands-on craftsmanship, and a commitment to responsible, meaningful design.
